>Win a Free Copy of 'Beading with World Beads'!
>
Last night, I finished beading my white English Bulldog pin & listed him in my Etsy shop. It turns out that bulldogs are hot sellers - he is already a reserved item for a repeat customer! You can see the finished item HERE. :)
And, today, I have some exciting news! About a week or so ago, I was contacted by Ray Hemachandra, senior editor at Lark Books. He offered to send me four of their latest beading books to giveaway on my blog! So, every week until Christmas, I will announce which book I will be giving away along with my brief review & all you have to do is enter to win! :)

This week, I am giving away 'Beading with World Beads' written by Ray Hemachandra himself! This is a wonderful hardcover book which provides information about beads from all corners of the world, including techniques & materials used to make them.

Learn about beads from India, China, Czech Republic, Italy, Africa, & South America. Then, check out the projects in the book to make some of your own ethnic jewelry!

Here are a some of my favourite projects in the book, including necklaces, bracelets, earrings, and brooches.

Easy-to-understand beading instructions teach basic wire-working, stringing, & knotting techniques which create beautiful pieces!

If you have some ethnic beads in your bead stash, this book should provide you with new inspiration on what to make with them! Which piece would you like to make first?
