>When in Doubt, Add More Seed Beads
>
Turns out, I'm still working on the domes for my beaded St. Mark's Basilica painting.

First, I needed to fill in the rest of the dome with seed beads. Since I work without any real architectural blueprints, I learn as I go along. I began by layering more size 11 Czech glass seed beads over the lower portion of the domes.

When I finished that, I sort of liked it, but it didn't look complete to me. So, I lazy-stitched Japanese size 15 seed beads over the size 11's! I think this will help bring the Ascension Dome out of the canvas a bit more.

I still need to stitch through these beads once more just to strengthen the lines. I might do this to one of the smaller domes as well! How do you think it looks? I think my sinking St. Mark's Basilica is finally starting to come together! :)
