Last month, I decided to create a beaded art card specifically for a show on EBSQ. The show was 'INSECTS'. I am so pleased to see that it has won Patron's Choice. Thank you for taking the time to vote! You can view the results here: http://www.ebsqart.com/ArtShows/sh_93.htm

This artist trading card consists of individual beaded aphids which were then sewn onto painted canvas paper. The finished piece was then mounted onto mat board. Each insect was created using size 15 Japanese seed beads. I used a modified brick-stitch technique. I also used green thread for their legs. This piece measures 2.5" x 3.5".
