I got home from work early last night, so I worked on the tires of my '78 Datsun pick-up truck. I thought I was going to bead the tread on these, but I changed my mind. I ended up cutting out zig-zag pieces of the same black vinyl material, and glued them into place. Normally, I don't like to glue anything to anything, but sometimes, you just have to do it if you don't want any stitches to show. Below is a closer look. Can you see the tread pattern?? I also beaded the parking lights just below the bumper. I'm not sure if they're supposed to be an orange or a red, but they're red for now...

For some reason, I feel the need to work on all the details before I bead the body of the truck.
