>Time Traveler - A Beaded Trilogy
>
Thanks to everyone for your interest in my beadwork, and for following my blog! This week has been big for me. It marks the completion of my Time Traveler pieces. This is a pop art series of mixed media works featuring a beaded DeLorean Time Machine. My inspiration came from the 1985 film Back to the Future. Here is the trilogy in its entirety - which piece is your favourite?

Time Traveler (Part 1). Seed beads, acrylics. 16" x 20" x 2".

Time Traveler (Part 2). Seed beads, acrylics. 16" x 20" 3"D.

Time Traveler (Part 3). Seed beads, acrylics, newspaper collage. 16" x 20" x 1".
I worked on these 3 pieces almost exclusively for the past 5 months, so it feels like quite an accomplishment to be finally finished! Of course, I am never really finished. I have spent the past couple of days taking photos of my beadwork, and adding them to several websites including TheLoneBeader.com, Facebook, Myspace, and Squidoo.
So, what will become of this series? A DeLorean owner on Twitter already asked me if these pieces would be available for sale at The Lone Beader's Gallery Shop on Etsy. He wanted to let some other DeLorean owners know about it. I would love to show them altogether in an art exhibit before they are sold to a private collector. However, in the meantime, if someone is interested, the price is available on request. I think each piece can stand on its own, but it would make more sense (to me) to display them altogether. So, I'm not sure if I should offer them only as a set or also as separate works. I guess I will have to think about that...What do you think?? Until I decide, these works will be hanging on the wall in my studio! :D
