The type of beadwork that I do requires a certain amount of thought and planning. Sometimes, it takes me a few days of thinking before I can really start a new piece. Despite the fact that I worked all day today, and was very tired when I got home, I thought that tonite I was going to just start beading this picture. So I picked out a few colors, and started stitching....I stitched on 4 beads. Then, something made me stop and think about it some more...
This design is stamped on a piece of embroidery fabric, and is very faded because the kit is at least 20 yrs. old. While I like the drawings of the owls, I never intended to use this design as my own. I looked at it for a very long time, and decided that I might cut the two owls out and bead them seperately. Then, I 'd eventually attach only one (The Messenger) to a painted canvas like my other bead-paintings. Just a thought. I'll sleep on it before I reach for the scissors...
