In my recent post entitled Scraping the Sky, Gigi's husband, Craig, said, "...When Gigi told me an artist was going to recreate the picture of 'the girls' in beads I wasn't sure what to expect. But you've not only captured an image, you've told a story with it..."

This evening, I was reading the latest issue of Beadwork Magazine. I thought it was interesting that on the very first page, Editor Marlene Blessing mentioned how beaders are drawn to telling stories through their work. This was exactly my goal - to tell the true story of The Divas, just as I did with Rudy. I think that people can better relate to art if they understand what inspired the artist to create a piece, as well as the true story behind the work itself.

I definitely have more stories to tell...This is only the beginning:)
