For those of you who don't follow me on Facebook, here's the progress of my latest pin/pendant. It's a Chinese Shar-Pei! I love a challenge so I thought I'd try to create one of these cute cuddly dogs.

Working from a photo, I cut out several felt layers and stitched them together. Then, I stitched on eyes and a nose. Next, using Japanese size 15 glass seed beads and Nymo thread, I started with the eyes and then worked on the wrinkles using the beaded backstitch technique. All I have to do now, is fill in the rest of the felt using a different colour. How do you think he looks so far? :D
