This morning, I set my alarm so that I could get up and do some beading before work. The good thing is, it seems that I will have enough of these seed beads to complete this part of my love seat. At least I hope so...

Also, as I was checking my charity auction this morning, I remembered that I wanted to look for a CD, as well. "The Saints are Coming" by U2 and Green Day. I've been hearing this song on the radio for the last month now, and I love it. The two bands performed this song live at the Monday Night Football Pre-game show on Sept. 25, 2006. This was the first game at the Louisiana Superdome in New Orleans since it was heavily damaged by Hurricane Katrina in August 2005. Most of the musical instruments from the region were lost in the flooding. So, U2's guitarist, The Edge, helped form an organization called Music Rising, whose goal is to help rebuild the musical culture of the region by replacing those lost instruments.
