Outside my world of extreme bead embroidery, I am not a detail-oriented person at all- in fact, quite the opposite! However, yesterday, No Easy Beads commented on the amount of detail that I'm putting into my beaded DeLorean time machine. I'm glad someone noticed, because there are a lot of details! Building a DeLorean DMC-12 is never easy! Needless to say, I spend a lot of time just thinking about how I should do what I want to do, then I have to see if it will actually work. Most times, it doesn't work, then it's back to the beading table! Speaking of that, here's what my work space looks like now:

There are capacitors, lights, wires, and beads everywhere!

Within a few hours, I stitched some electrical parts onto my piece. These parts regulate the plutonium-powered nuclear reactor, which in turn gives the flux capacitor the power to work! There are still a few more parts I need to get, but here are a couple of close-ups for now:

As you can see, attention to detail is very important.
