Over the weekend, I worked on the branch that this owl sits on. It's hard to tell from the photo, but there is actually 2 layers of beads on the branch. I have been thinking about what kind of leaves I want to surround the owl and branch....But, until I figure that out, I'm going to add dimension to the owl by stitching on a second layer of beads. I really want my subject to stand out of the canvas.
