>Off to a Pink Start

I think I am suffering from beading withdrawal. I have not done any beadwork for almost 3 weeks now, and it is really making me feel depressed. I mean, my worktable is actually clean (for once), and it just doesn't feel right. But, that will soon change...

Today, I had some time to start on the felt foundation for my Triumph GT6. First, I made several photocopies of the car and cut them out. My drawing measures approx. 10.5" wide x 3" tall. I used to trace my drawings several times, but I have gotten pretty lazy with experience. So, I used a regular black pen to trace around the image of the car. I would have preferred to use a pen with Disappearing Ink, but my fabric pen died on me and I haven't had time to pick up a new one... I suppose it doesn't matter; we won't see any ink by the time I'm done...

Right now, there's only 3 layers of pink felt, but I plan to cut out several more. I hope to re-create the curves of this particular body style, as well as the big dent in the door=:0
