Thanks for all your comments on my recent post about feelin' blue. I have finally recovered from jet lag and I am feeling better, but I'm still pretty sad about summer ending. Tonite, I'm going to the Quincy ArtsFest & Awards Ceremony. I'm also planning a trip to NYC to see Porcupine Tree perform at Radio City Music Hall next week. I'm hoping these events will prove to be a positive distraction! :D

Semi-beaded self portrait. Bead embroidery on felt. 8.5" x 5.5" (22cm x 14cm).

In the meantime, I am still working on my beaded self portrait. I think I am mostly finished beading my face. (This is pretty much what I look like when surfing the internet late at night!) Next, I have to figure out how to create beaded eyeglass frames! My mind knows how these should look, but I'm not exactly sure how to recreate my own vision! Guess I'll just have to keep on beading! :D
