YaY!! Today, I finished the freeform beaded lanyard for my aunt! I know - you're wondering how I know that it's finished. Easy! I ran out of thread! LOL. But, I'm still going to run one more piece of thread through the entire piece just to reinforce it...
I also made these earrings to match. They are tiny glass vials that have 14K gold posts. Inside, there are tiny seashells and a bit of sand from the beach. I found the shells on Scusset Beach here in Massachusetts a few years ago. I have never seen seashells that tiny before in my life, so I don't believe these earrings could ever be duplicated. They're a birthday gift for my aunt, but shhhhh... don't tell... it's a surprise ;)
Tommorrow, I will unveil plans for my next adventure in bead embroidery...
