New Beaded Pomeranian Pin & Doxie Pet Portrait
Dear friends, I had a wonderful time visiting the San Diego Bead Society! I was only there for a few days, but the weather was gorgeous. I was happy to take a walk on the beach and go hiking at Torrey Pines State Natural Reserve! Please see more photos on the San Diego Bead Society's Facebook page.

While I was there, I taught my Toy Poodle bead embroidery class. One of the students brought her adorable miniature Pomeranian named Emily. Emily is the official mascot of the San Diego Bead Society! :)

And, here is the custom beaded miniature Pomeranian pin I made to look like her.. This design is now available as made to order on Etsy. What do you think? :)

And, since I've returned, I have also created a new custom beaded pet portrait, Dachshund in Flower Garden. This piece was inspired by a little dog named Frankie. It features tiny bead-embroidered multi-color flowers and butterflies. Framed in an 8x8" shadowbox frame. Click to view it in the frame.
