Today, I finally got around to doing some beadwork on my Yellow Submarine! First, I added windows by stitching two pieces of clear vinyl to the back of the top layer of felt. Then, I stitched on some 6/o matte red seed beads following the lines I drew with a fabric pen.

While I was working on that, I received this message from Faith J. in Memphis, TN:
"I have a memory of being at home with my brothers and one sister. It’s late winter of 1967. All five of us kids are getting ready for school and dancing to Penny Lane on the record player. We ranged in age from 17 down to 9 and we all loved the Beatles. Good thing my mom also liked them, because she had to listen to them seven......no make that...... eight days a week........lol!"
A record player??
Wait... I remember those! I think I used to have one! I remember it was a red & white suitcase record player with a picture of Donny & Marie Osmond on the lid... What I would do to get that back!
