>Lazy Stitch Beading on Canvas
Ok, I will admit I've been lazy about blogging lately, but I haven't been so lazy about beading, or have I??

Currently, I am lazy-stitching some Czech glass flowers to canvas for my beaded White House painting. I am using the green Wildfire that I got from Artbeads.com for this because of its strength. So far, this is working well, although my beading needle has seen better days... :/

The light green flowers (1st pic) have been in my bead stash for awhile, but the tiny blue flowers (2nd pic) are new! I got them at the Sewickley Bead Company while I was in Pittsburgh last week.

And, I finally finished beading my trees, where I added a tiny glass bird - a red robin!

Now, I must finish stitching all of my beadwork to the painted 36" oval canvas..

After 15 weeks of working on this project, progress is finally being made in Washington! ;)
