I just realized that it took me 10 weeks to complete my blue beaded bus. And, it's not even complete yet. I still need to stitch on a backing... :0

Sometimes I wonder how I can work on a piece for so long. Where do I get this patience from?? I have thought about this, and I really don't know. However, I do know that in other areas of my life, I'm not patient at all. Like when I'm stuck in traffic and I'm late for work. Or when I'm waiting in line at the supermarket. Or when I'm waiting for the train. Or when I'm waiting for that cute guy to call me...

I hate waiting for a lot of things. Now that I think about it, bead embroidery might be one of the few things I have patience for... but why?? Perhaps it is because I love the process of creating beadwork even more than the beadwork itself...
