Yesterday, I read a news article about Michelle Obama. She harvested some veggies from the new White House garden with Bancroft Elementary School students. These veggies were just planted in April and that made me think of how fast plants actually grow...

I wish my beaded trees grew that fast! The old saying 'Just add water' does not apply! But, even though I can only stitch on beads a few at a time, I know that one day, my trees will be finished. This is what keeps me going.

But, I plan to bead a veggie garden on the South Lawn, too! :o
