This afternoon, I received an email from Galerie Gora. Galerie Gora is a Canadian contemporary art gallery located in Montreal, Quebec. They offered me the opportunity to exhibit my work there.

I read through their terms and conditions, and I would have to send an application/resume as well as photos or slides of my work. In addition, they require a rather large exhibition fee. The fee is $2500 USD for a solo exhibition of up to 20 pieces. A group exhibition is a much smaller fee per piece.

Of course, the purpose of exhibiting art is to sell, and I'm not exactly sure that I am ready to do this. Not only that, but I don't have that many pieces to exhibit at this point in time, mainly because each piece takes so long to create. However, I did email the gallery to find out more details regarding a group exhibition. I may be interested in showing 1 or 2 pieces, but it all depends upon how they choose artists within a particular group... If they choose a number of artists from the United States and group them together, I might decide to participate... We shall see...
