I announced good news on my Facebook page yesterday... I just learned that my beaded Boston trolley relief painting, Gasoline District, has been juried into Cambridge Art Association's 2009 Northeast Prize Show! I am very excited! :D

Gasoline District - 24" x 48" wide, glass seed beads & acrylics

The Northeast Prize Show is an annual show which features artists from all New England states working in all media and styles! This year's exhibition was juried by William Stover, Assistant Curator of Contemporary Art at the Museum of Fine Arts, Boston.

This exhibit will be installed in both CAA galleries; the Kathryn Schultz Gallery at 25 Lowell Street, and the University Place Gallery in Harvard Square, 124 Mount Auburn Street. The exhibit runs from May 14 - June 25, with opening receptions on Friday, May 29. If you happen to be in the neighborhood, I hope you'll stop by! :D
