Beaded Old English Sheepdog pin/pendant.
Bead embroidery on felt. 2.25" x 1.25" (6 x 3cm)
Last night, I finished working on Eliza the beaded Old English Sheepdog! She is the 4th in a series of commissioned sheepdog pin /pendants made for the owner of the dogs in real life. She is made from 2 layers of bead embroidery & the fringe on her head & feet actually moves when you touch it.

For those of you who are new readers, you can see the photo of the real sheepdogs here. Can you tell which one Eliza is?

In the photo, from left to right, first you see Bailey,

then Rachel,

and, last but not least, is Genna with a flower in her hair.

When I made the original Divas pet portrait, I never thought I'd still be making beaded sheepdogs 3 years later! I guess they are in demand! I really like to make them, and I think the beaded versions are pretty good likenesses of the real dogs. What do you think? Which dog is your favourite? ;)
