>Five Quid
>
By now, you're probably wondering what on earth my workspace looks like, so here's a quick peek:

My bead-embroidered shipping crate measures approx. 17 3/4" x 6" tall. If I ever finish it, my beaded Banksy pink car will sit on top of it, just as the real Triumph GT6 does on Brick Lane in London, England. In the photo above, you'll see the mess of seed beads that I've created. Also, this piece is so large that it barely fits on my little work table! I often wonder how I can work under such conditions... :0
You'll also notice that I've placed a British ₤5 note next to the beadwork. This is to give you an idea of the scale of this piece. For those of you who have never been to Britain, five pounds (or 5 Quid) is equal to $10 here in America. If I lived in England, I'd definitely head over to the States to do my Christmas shopping... everything here is half price!
And, by the way, if you're heading over to London on holiday, keep an eye out for some very rare Princess Diana ₤10 notes... They are the work of famed graffiti-artist Banksy. I'm sure the exchange rate on those is quite high...
