Remember when I finished working on my beaded Time Traveler pieces? I said I would like to show them altogether in an art exhibit... Well, my wish will soon come true! Today, I found the following letter from Camarillo, CA in my mailbox:

My beaded triptych, Time Traveler Trilogy (which features my beaded DeLorean Time Machine), has been accepted into Studio Channel Island Art Center's Focus on Fiber II exhibition. I am thrilled! The show's juror is Carol Sauvion, producer of Craft in America documentary series, and founder of Freehand Gallery.
Focus on Fiber II is a national juried exhibition featuring all fiber media, including weaving, basketry, sculpture, felting, papermaking, beading, knitting, crocheting and embroidery. This exhibit takes place on the Campus of CSUCI in Camarillo, CA, which is only about 40 minutes north of Los Angeles. I believe the show will be in the O'Keefe Gallery. The exhibition dates are May 16th - July 4th, which means my paintings will have to travel to So Cal next week! Wish I could go, too! :o
