The other day, I began working on my felt Campanile. This is the bell tower which will accompany my beaded St. Mark's Basilica. First, I used a large tracing of my own drawing to mark windows on my felt.

Then, I stitched on some charcoal cube-shaped seed beads for the windows. The windows are not exactly like the ones on the real tower. Mine appear more sunken and misplaced. Just like my sinking St. Mark's Basilica. Looks just like the St. Mark's Square I remember! :o
