This afternoon, I finished the first layer of Genna (far right). The gray section at the bottom is her foot which is set back a bit. I decided not to use the gray beads I had been using for this, so instead I used black thread and clear beads. It turned out to be a gray that I really like, so I'll probably use that technique on the other dogs, as well. Using colored threads with transparent beads is a simple way to achieve many different color combinations.
