Each 3-dimensional bead-embroidered piece I create requires much thought and planning every step of the way. Some days, I don't even do any beading because I am busy contemplating the next step. Well, today was one of those days...

After I thought about my piece for awhile, I finally cut out some fabric for the tires on my psychedelic beaded bus:

I cut out several different shapes of black felt, Ultrasuede, and vinyl. Above, you can see which ones are which. I'm using the felt shapes as a foundation to make the tires stand out a little more. For the largest tire, there are 2 felt shapes, a vinyl piece, and a piece of Ultrasuede that sits on top. The small tire uses one donut-shaped piece of felt, as well as a piece of Ultrasuede.

When I stacked up all the shapes, I thought it looked about right... So, next I will bead two hubcaps... What colour do you think they should be??
