Today, I had a bit of time to work on the shipping crate for my bead-embroidered Banksy pink car. I began to stitch on some size 11 dark green seed beads. I have not used this colour green in any other part of the piece, and I think it will help bring out the lighter greens and grays...

Also, you'll notice that I've done a bit of layering on the digital watch face. I wanted to cover the part that said CASIO. Now, it has no name, and I like it much better. The date on the clock, 7/7/05, signifies the day that the London Bombings took place in the Underground. But, now that I look at this portion of the piece, I'm thinking I should add some more digits, as well. The numbers could represent significant dates in history, as well as the tattoos that Jews received while they were imprisoned in Auschwitz during World War II...

I'm going to give that idea some thought...
