>Detroit's Finest
>
Well, it's 3am and I just got home from work. I worked a Bob Seger concert last night at the Garden. Bob Seger is originally from Detroit, Michigan, and he's been around a long time. I'm sure you remember his song "Like a Rock". That song and slogan were used in Chevy truck commercials for over 10 years. In fact, it's probably one of the longest-running television commercials in history.
Anyways, we set up his show yesterday morning, and around 3:30pm, Bob showed up to do sound check. The Silver Bullet Band rehearsed "The Fire Down Below", and they played it about 18 times... Now, it's forever burned in my memory bank. LOL. So, in honor of Bob's hometown, I would like to share some of my favourite Detroit Fire Department photos with you. Enjoy=:)

And, surprisingly, I happened to have a few hours off yesterday, so I came home a did a little beadwork. I finished the first layer of the grill on my beaded 1943 Chevy fire truck. I may add to this in the future, but for now, I'll just leave it the way it is...
Time for sleep...Zzz...
