Today, I began to create the felt foundation for my graffitied wall. It's actually supposed to be a shipping crate like the one I saw in London, but I'm going to call it a wall. My beaded Triumph GT6 will eventually be parked on top of it.

First, I cut out several layers of felt and glued them to a large piece of Pellon interfacing. The right side is 6 layers thick, and the left side is 2 layers thick. Then, using the black piece of felt, I cut out part of my design. I want the right side of the wall to really stand out, and this windowed piece will help add some dimension. Next, I'll stitch the tracing paper to the felt, and I'll be ready to start beading... :)
