Thanks for all the comments on my last post! I'm sure it seemed like I was almost finished with my beaded British bus, but I'm not. Earlier this evening, I took some measurements, and cut out some very odd shapes of thick matte board. This is the stuff that they use to frame pictures with... I have used this material before when I was working on my beaded fire truck, and I was very happy with the results. So, for this piece, my goal is to construct something that acts as a shadow box so the viewer will be able to see inside of the bus. Here's what I have accomplished so far...



After I came up with this crazy design, I laid my bus on top of the 3" deep structure. I think my goal will become a reality after a few modifications... at least I hope so... First, I think I'll add more to this structure. Then, I plan to attach bits of velcro so that the beadwork can be removed if necessary...
