Yesterday, I went out and got a 24" x 30" canvas for my beaded Banksy pink car project. And, I never finished stitching the beadwork together. Instead, I decided that when the time comes I'll just stitch the 3 pieces of bead embroidery onto the stretched canvas one at a time. I think it will be easier to handle this way. Also, Mary asked how I'm planning to finish the edges of the beadwork. I believe that I will just stitch felt around the edges like I did for the underside of the pink car. And, at some point, I'll probably bead the edges of the brick building, as well.

This evening, I painted the entire canvas with acrylics. I'm hoping to incorporate some collage images into the rest of this piece, so this is just the first stage... and it's not even dry yet! Remember, I am not a painter by any means, but I won't let that stop me... I'll just see what happens... :0
