Yesterday, I stitched on the headlights, and today, I started working on the grill of my '78 Datsun pick-up truck. I wanted to finish the grill this afternoon, but I'm finding it rather difficult to sew the silver tube beads on. Basically, they're just tiny pieces of metal rolled into a tube, so there's a seam. And, most times, the seam is big enough that the thread comes out. So, I have to put a tiny tube on my needle and make sure it's completely closed before I try to stitch it on... Oh well... I think the tubes look cool once they're attached. Also, you can't really tell by this photo, but I'm using black Toho 1/2 bugle beads for the spaces in-between the silver beads.
