Gilligan's Island was another favourite television of mine. I remember watching this after school when I was 7 or 8 yrs. old. This sitcom ran for only 3 seasons - from 1964-1967. There were a total of 98 episodes, which became even more popular when the show ran in syndication. I can't remember which episode is my favourite, but I do remember my favourite character, The Professor. I loved the Professor because he was very smart, and he knew how to build all sorts of things. (He was also easy on the eyes:) But, despite his education, he could never really figure out a way to get off the island...

And, speaking of that, I did a little research and discovered that the real Gilligan's Island is actually an island in the Bahamas called Sandy Cay. This 3-acre island is only 3 miles from Nassau, and it is currently for sale for only $2,675,000. Not bad... however, this price would sound a little more reasonable to me if the island actually included a Professor;)

Until then, I'll keep saving my pennies...
