Finally, I am making some more progress on my beaded M1 Abrams main battle tank. I have stitched canvas paper depicting American flags onto the shadow below my tank. If you look closely, you'll see that these flags are those that are draped over the coffins of our fallen soldiers. This image is taken from a recent news article. I manipulated the image using Photoshop, printed it out, & photocopied it several times. Then, I painted the images onto canvas paper using an Acrylic Matte Medium. Magically, this turned the black printer ink green. I decided I like it!

Next, I plan to imbed the coffin images into the felt with more bead embroidery. Right now, I think the shadow looks more like a somber reflection of the tank. We'll see how it looks after I do a little more beadwork! :o
