This afternoon, I finished the windows for my beaded Brick Lane building. I used sheer white fabric, clear vinyl, and white bugle beads. They're not exactly perfect, like real windows are, but that's okay... This building was probably hit by a bomb at some point in London's history, and when my beadwork is finally finished, I want viewers to sense construction, destruction and reconstruction... all at the same time...
