>Bold & Bright Radio City Lights
>
During the past few days, I've been busy beading the 'Radio City' lights on my felt theatre marquee.

First, I beaded around the outer edge of the large letters using a yellow seed bead mix. Then, I filled them in using size 11 seed beads.

For the small 'Radio City' words, I used smaller size 15 seed beads because this part of the marquee should appear farther away from the viewer.

Beadwork 16" x 2.75". Work in progress.
How do you think it looks? So far, I think it looks bold & bright, just like New York City lights! This bead painting is actually starting to remind me of the Macy's Day parade, which brings me to the subject of Thanksgiving. This year, I will be spending Turkey Day with my family in Pennsylvania. Please check my Facebook page to stay updated on all of my latest beading news while I'm away. And, if you happen to be shopping on Black Friday, don't forget to check my Etsy shop for original beadwork, as well as my Zazzle shop for NEW 'beaded' merchandise! Happy Thanksgiving! :D
