Last night, I went to the Quincy Artsfest opening reception, and I was very surprised that my Great Blue Heron bead-painting won an award! First Place in Mixed Media! The awards ceremony was very nice, too. Mayor Thomas P. Koch was there, as well as QATV, our local television station! I'll post some more pics of the art festival later, but first, here's a sneak peek... *blush* = :D
