>Bird Pin or Painting
>
This week, I have a lot to do. I must submit my beadwork to a few shows, get ready for an upcoming local exhibit, and prepare for next week's trip to Venice, Italy. In between all of that, I must work my real job, hopefully hit the beach one more time, and try to get some beadwork done! Needless to say, I won't be starting anything big until I return from Italy, but I still have time to work on some smaller projects. Here is what I worked on yesterday - a beaded Tufted Titmouse bird! :)

I had the felt for this project complete for awhile, and yesterday I finally started beading it! I used both size 15 and size 11 Czech glass seed beads. I used 5 different colours - 2 grays, white, black and pink. I also used a glass taxidermy eye! I really like how this little bird turned out so far. Reminds me of when I used to live near the woods in Raynham, MA. These little 'Tuffies' used to visit me every day! :)

Bead embroidery on felt. Work in progress.
Now, I must decide how to finish the beadwork. Should it be a pin, like the birds in my Etsy shop? Or perhaps it should become part of a beaded painting? I guess only time will tell...
