>Behind the Scene
>
Yesterday, I finally had the chance to start adding a backing to my blue beaded bus. Sounds easy, but since the piece is an odd shape, it's a challenge. First, I cut out a small strip of Ultrasuede, and began to stitch it around the nose of the bus.

I continued until I got to the roof of the bus.

Next, I started to stitch on a clear piece of vinyl. This piece will cover the open end of the bus, ONLY. It is sewn to the back side of the beadwork, so you cannot see it from the front.

The clear vinyl will create a window so that viewers can have a 'behind the scenes' look of one of my pieces. I'm hoping this will give them an idea of the time my work takes to create, although I'm not sure art critics would approve... or would they??
