>Beadwork at the Arts Festival

This weekend, I went to the 55th Annual Arts Festival in Cohasset, MA. This is a beautiful event! There are a great number of local vendors there selling fine jewelry, art, and crafts. There is also food (lobster rolls & strawberry shortcake!), live entertainment, and fun for the kids! And of course in the main tent, you will find the Juried & Members Art Shows. That is where my beaded Great Blue Heron painting can be seen. Upon viewing all of the artworks, I noticed another beaded painting there which I wanted to share. This piece was created on a loom. I was in awe of this beadwork. It is made from 90,500 tiny glass seed beads! I can't imagine how long it took to create! Check out Doug's website if you get the chance. I think you'll be amazed at his work! Also, check out more photos of the Arts Festival below.
