The other day, Jewels posted a photo of her bent beading needle, so I figured I should show you mine. It's a John James extra long size 12 beading needle. It measures 3" long, to be exact. My needle is not bent nearly as much as Jewels' is - but it does have a rather nice curve to it.

The reason my needle is so curved is because I have to push it through at least 10 layers of felt, then I have to pull it out the other side! I guess now I know I don't need to buy a curved embroidery needle - I can simply make my own! :o

Beading is hard work, but since today is Labor Day, I think I'll take the day off! :D
