Beaded Spring Chicken
This week, I finished a new commissioned painting featuring a beaded Wyandotte chicken! This piece consists of extreme bead embroidery stitched to a painted canvas. I used Czech & Japanese glass seed beads of all sizes. I also used Magatamas and Czech dagger beads. This bird's feathers really move when you touch them! This piece is a small work measuring just 8" x 8".. My next project will be a custom beaded chicken pin.. Who knew chickens were so popular? :)
