Beaded Portrait Progress

This week, I've been busy working on my beaded portrait. This piece is slowly coming together. I am lazy-stitching size 11 Czech glass seed beads to felt using Nymo thread. I am using a lot of red beads, but I plan to layer orange, blue, green, and yellows over each other. I also plan to make beaded eyeglass frames around the recycled eyeglass lenses. I'm looking forward to that challenge! Also, take note of how curvy my beading needle is.. How much longer do you think it will last? :O

In addition to doing beadwork, I have also begun writing a new bead embroidery tutorial which will contain step-by-step instructions on how to make one of my beaded dog pins. I hope to release it later this month! And, to those who may be interested, my beaded Radio City Music Hall painting is now listed for sale in my Etsy shop. That's the news for now. Back to beading!
