The last couple of days, I have been busy! I completed a commissioned piece (which I will show you soon). Then, I completed the reverse side of my beaded Boston fire hydrant.You will notice the nozzles that stick out. They are about 3/8" tall. These water nozzles were created using the peyote stitch, and let me tell you, it's not easy beading a circle out of cube-shaped beads! It kind of goes against nature, but I really like how it looks. :D

Next, I plan to stitch the two pieces of beadwork together somehow, so that it looks 3-dimensional.

Semi-beaded Boston fire hydrant. 4" x 1.75"w (10cm x 4cm).

When it is complete, this fire hydrant will accompany my beaded motorcycle - with or without a parking ticket... :o
