A couple of months ago, shortly after I finished my Great Blue Heron bead-painting and Haiku, I decided to send a copy of my poem to the Asahi Haikuist Network. Asahi.com is my friend Jimmy's favorite Japanese newspaper, and he sent me the link to it back in February. Today, I decided to check out this month's Haiku section, and there I saw my name and my Haiku! I could hardly believe my eyes! It is quite an honor to have my poem posted there.
