One thing I love about my job is that sometimes I get the entire afternoon off to do whatever I want. In the summer, I usually work about 4 hours in the morning, then I get to go home until around 7pm when I have to be back to run a spotlight for the show. I always tell myself that I'm going to go home and take a nap because I usually only get about 5 hours of sleep a night (or less), but that never seems to happen....Today, I took a 30-minute cat-nap, then I got up and worked on my necklace. Slowly, the freeform is growing. And, as you can see, I decided to 'capture' the shell with another strand of beads. The beauty of this technique is that the results are quite unpredictable. I can't wait to see how it progresses....
